The PROLENE™ Monofilament Suture, Blue, Size 10-0, 4", CTC-6L Needle is a synthetic, nonabsorbable suture made from isotactic crystalline polypropylene. Its monofilament design ensures minimal tissue drag and low tissue reactivity, promoting clean wound healing. The suture is dyed blue to enhance intraoperative visibility and simplify postoperative identification during removal.

This suture is indicated for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and neurological surgical procedures. Due to its inert material properties, the suture does not provoke significant inflammatory response and retains tensile strength indefinitely.
