Description

Coated Vicryl Plus Antibacterial Suture is an absorbable, synthetic suture composed of polyglactin 910 and coated with triclosan to inhibit bacterial colonization. The antibacterial coating creates a zone of inhibition against common surgical pathogens, including Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, MRSA, and MRSE. The suture is violet in color for improved visibility during procedures.

The suture is equipped with a reverse cutting needle, which enhances precision when penetrating tough tissues such as skin or fascia. Its braided composition provides excellent handling, knot security, and tensile strength.
