Sodium Chloride Injection, USP, 0.9%, in single-dose vials, designed exclusively for parenteral use after addition of drugs that require dilution or dissolution in an aqueous vehicle prior to injection.This sterile and nonpyrogenic solution contains sodium chloride 9 mg per mL, with water for injection, ensuring purity and safety. It does not contain any bacteriostat, antimicrobial agent, or added buffer, and is provided only in single-dose containers to prevent contamination.

Hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide may have been added for pH adjustment within the range of 4.5 to 7.0, ensuring compatibility with various medications.
