The Laparoscopic-Choleangiographic Set is a specialized instrument designed to facilitate the performance of cholangiograms during laparoscopic cholecystectomy procedures. This set streamlines the process of catheter placement, saving time and ensuring reliability in diagnostic imaging of the biliary anatomy.

Cholangiography, a technique involving the imaging of the bile ducts, is strongly recommended during laparoscopic cholecystectomy procedures. It provides crucial visual information about the biliary anatomy, helps exclude the presence of choledocholithiasis (gallstones in the bile ducts), and identifies any anomalies in the common duct and cystic duct.

The Introducer set (CS-01700) included in this set comprises a 5 mm diameter metal cannula, an adjustable curved-tipped guiding catheter, and a 4 Fr. x 60 cm balloon cholangiography catheter. These components are designed for placement through an existing abdominal port, ensuring minimal invasiveness and optimal positioning during the procedure.
