The PTFE Cautery Pencil with Pushbutton is a high-performance surgical tool designed for precise tissue coagulation and incision during medical procedures. It features a 2.5-inch PTFE-coated electrode tip, which enhances the pencil’s ability to perform clean and controlled cauterization. The PTFE coating allows for easy cleaning with a wet piece of gauze or sponge.

The electrode tip is designed with rounded edges, reducing the concentration of RF (radiofrequency) current in a single area. This feature ensures that the cauterization process is consistent and evenly distributed, minimizing the risk of tissue damage and improving surgical outcomes.

For convenience, all tips less than 3 inches in length are equipped with ribbed insulation.
