Omnipaque 240 mg/mL (50 mL, 10 Box) is an iodinated contrast agent used in a variety of imaging procedures to enhance the visibility of internal structures during diagnostic radiology. It is indicated for intrathecal, intravascular, oral/body cavity, and intrathecal use, providing clear imaging for conditions requiring detailed visualization of blood vessels, spinal structures, and other body areas.

Omnipaque is packaged in a PlusPak polymer bottle, which is designed for convenience and safety. The bottle features a pull-ring and twist-off cap, which eliminates the risk of cutting fingers, while the latex-free bull's-eye stopper provides easy access to the solution. The bottle's compact size and peel-off tracking labels enhance usability and storage, making it an efficient option in clinical settings.

The contrast media may also be stored in a contrast media warmer for up to one month at 37°C (98.6°F) if needed. Protection from strong daylight and direct sunlight is essential to maintain the integrity of the contrast agent.
