Neo/Poly/Dex Drops 5 mL is a combination ophthalmic solution used to treat bacterial eye infections and reduce inflammation. It contains three active ingredients: neomycin sulfate, polymyxin B sulfate, and dexamethasone. Neomycin and polymyxin B are antibiotics that target a broad spectrum of bacteria, effectively eliminating the pathogens responsible for eye infections such as conjunctivitis.

The antibiotic components, neomycin and polymyxin B, work synergistically to inhibit bacterial growth by disrupting the bacterial cell wall and membrane, leading to bacterial death. Dexamethasone acts by inhibiting inflammatory responses, thus relieving symptoms such as redness, pain, and swelling.
