Description

Ketorolac Tromethamine 60 mg/2 mL is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe pain. Ketorolac acts by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are chemicals responsible for inflammation, pain, and fever.

This formulation contains 60 mg of ketorolac tromethamine per 2 mL, providing potent analgesia. The product is delivered in a box of 25 vials, ensuring sufficient supply for acute pain management. Ketorolac is considered effective in reducing pain intensity after surgeries such as orthopedic or dental procedures.

Ketorolac should be used with caution in patients with a history of peptic ulcer disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, or renal impairment. It is contraindicated in patients who have recently undergone certain surgeries, such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). The drug is also not recommended for use in conjunction with other NSAIDs or in patients with known hypersensitivity to aspirin.
