Kenalog-10, 10 mg/mL, 5 mL Vial is a highly effective anti-inflammatory medication formulated with triamcinolone acetonide, a synthetic corticosteroid known for its potent anti-inflammatory properties. Delivered in a sterile aqueous suspension, this product is specifically designed for intradermal, intra-articular, intrabursal injections, and for use in tendon sheaths. It is not suitable for intravenous or intramuscular administration.

In addition to triamcinolone acetonide, Kenalog-10 contains 0.75% carboxymethylcellulose sodium and 0.04% polysorbate 80, which contribute to the stability and consistency of the suspension. This formulation allows for effective management of various inflammatory conditions by directly targeting and reducing inflammation at the site of injection.

To maintain its effectiveness, Kenalog-10 should be stored at a controlled room temperature between 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F), protected from light and freezing. This storage condition ensures the stability of the suspension and preserves its therapeutic properties.
