The EMS IV Start Kit is designed to provide essential tools for initiating intravenous (IV) access in emergency medical services. Each kit includes an IV extension set, prefilled saline flush syringe, 8-ply gauze sponges, and other components necessary for a safe and effective IV insertion. The kit ensures that all required items are readily available, streamlining the process of IV initiation in pre-hospital environments.

Disposable in nature, the IV start kit minimizes the risk of cross-contamination between patients and healthcare providers. Each kit is available with either a Veni-Guard peripheral line dressing or a SureSite Window transparent film dressing. The transparent film dressing allows for easy monitoring of the insertion site without the need for removal.
