Description
The Resistick II Coated Electrode, Modified Blade, 2.75", is designed for precise and efficient electrosurgical performance. The blade, ball, and needle electrodes are coated with PTFE to reduce friction and resist eschar build-up, allowing smooth passage through tissue. This design enhances procedural efficiency while maintaining consistent energy delivery during surgical interventions.
The PTFE coating ensures minimal adherence of tissue debris, simplifying cleaning. A damp sponge or cloth is sufficient to remove any residual material, supporting rapid turnover between uses and reducing interruptions during surgery. The coating’s uniformity is monitored through an Ionic Backscatter measuring system, promoting accurate and consistent thickness across all electrodes.
The device includes an electrosurgical pencil, the ES01T coated blade with ESPH holster, and a standard 3-prong connector. These components are compatible with standard electrosurgical units, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance. The electrode is packaged individually and intended for single use, supporting infection control protocols and minimizing the risk of cross-contamination in clinical settings.
