Diazepam 5 mg/mL 2 mL (Carpuject® Luer Lock Slim-Pak®) is an injectable benzodiazepine used primarily for the management of anxiety, muscle spasms, and seizures. It is also commonly used as a sedative before medical procedures, as well as for the management of alcohol withdrawal symptoms. Diazepam acts by enhancing the effects of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) at the GABA-A receptor, leading to CNS depression and providing therapeutic effects.

The medication is provided in a prefilled syringe with a Luer lock mechanism, which ensures safe and secure injection administration. The solution contains 5 mg of diazepam per 1 mL of solution, with a total volume of 2 mL, making it suitable for intravenous or intramuscular use in clinical settings.
