The Biopatch CHG Disc Dressing is a specialized wound care product designed to absorb exudate and protect the insertion sites of vascular and non-vascular percutaneous medical devices. With a diameter of 1 inch and a 7 mm central hole, this hydrophilic dressing is tailored for optimal coverage and compatibility with medical devices such as IV catheters, central venous lines, arterial catheters, and dialysis catheters.

Infused with Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG), the Biopatch dressing provides antimicrobial protection to help reduce local infections, catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSI), and skin colonization of microorganisms associated with CRBSI.

The dressing’s hydrophilic properties allow it to manage wound exudate effectively, maintaining a moist environment conducive to healing. Designed for use with medical devices ranging from 13 to 20 Fr., it addresses a wide range of clinical applications.The Biopatch CHG Disc Dressing requires controlled storage conditions, remaining viable only below 86°F.
