The Polysyn 2-0 Undyed Suture is a synthetic, absorbable surgical suture designed for efficient wound closure with minimal tissue reaction. It is composed of a polyglycolic acid-based copolymer, which ensures predictable absorption and controlled tensile strength retention. The undyed configuration makes it particularly suitable for delicate procedures where discreet suturing is required.

Equipped with a CT-2 Taper Point Needle, this suture is specifically designed for atraumatic penetration through soft tissues. The tapered tip ensures precise tissue approximation without causing excessive damage, making it ideal for internal suturing applications. The 27 cm suture length provides sufficient material for secure closures while maintaining ease of handling.

The Polysyn 2-0 suture retains approximately 50% of its tensile strength at two weeks and 20% at three weeks, ensuring adequate wound support during the critical healing phase. Complete mass absorption occurs between 50 to 90 days, eliminating the need for suture removal.
