The Suture Absorbable PGA 1 18in CT-1 36mm Taper is a high-performance surgical suture designed for reliable tissue approximation and wound closure. Constructed from polyglactin 910, a synthetic absorbable material, the suture is braided in 12 strands to provide enhanced tensile strength and knot security. Its undyed coating improves handling and passage through tissue while minimizing trauma during suturing. The suture is sterile and intended for single-use in surgical procedures requiring absorbable material.

Equipped with a CT-1 taper point needle, the suture features a 36 mm stainless steel needle shaped in a 1/2 circle. The taper point design allows smooth penetration through soft tissue without cutting, reducing tissue damage and promoting optimal healing.
