Description
Coated VICRYL™ Absorbable Suture, Size 7/0, Violet Braided, with TG160-8 needle, is a sterile synthetic suture composed of Polyglactin 910, a copolymer of glycolide and lactide. The suture is coated with a mixture of polyglactin 370 and calcium stearate, enhancing its handling characteristics and minimizing tissue drag.
This suture is particularly suited for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, including use in ophthalmic surgeries. It is not indicated for cardiovascular or neurological applications.
