The Safety Butterfly Infusion Set, 23G × 3/4", 12" Tubing is a sterile scalp vein infusion set designed for safe and efficient venous access during blood collection, short-term intravenous infusion, and medication administration. The device features a 23-gauge thin-wall stainless steel needle with a 3/4-inch length, providing reliable vascular access while supporting smooth fluid flow. Its winged hub offers enhanced stability and control during insertion, making it suitable for patients with small or fragile veins. 

The infusion set incorporates an integrated safety needle mechanism that helps reduce the risk of accidental needlestick injuries after use. The safety feature can be activated following needle withdrawal, promoting safer handling and disposal in accordance with infection prevention protocols. The thin-wall needle design maximizes internal diameter without increasing external gauge, supporting efficient blood flow while minimizing patient discomfort during venipuncture.

The set is manufactured with Non-DEHP tubing to reduce patient exposure to di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, making it suitable for applications where DEHP-free components are preferred.
