The suture is equipped with German-engineered needles, renowned for their superior sharpness, penetration, and strength. These high-quality needles facilitate cleaner and more efficient wound closures, enhancing the precision and effectiveness of surgical procedures.

The PDO (polydioxanone) material used in the suture is suitable for general soft tissue approximation and ligation. It is important to note that this material is not recommended for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissues, microsurgery, or ophthalmic surgery.

The absorption profile of the PDO material is particularly advantageous for prolonged support during the healing process. The suture retains up to 90% of its tensile strength by day 14, 82% by day 28, and 79% by day 42. It is essentially absorbed between 180 and 220 days, providing sufficient support throughout the critical phases of wound healing. This gradual absorption ensures that the suture maintains its integrity and support during the most crucial periods of tissue recovery.
