The Quill™ Barbed Suture, MONODERM™, 2-0, Undyed, features a unidirectional barbed design that enables knotless wound closure. The barbs are helically arranged along the suture strand, ensuring a consistent distribution of tension and promoting secure tissue holding without the need for knots.
The bidirectional configuration of the suture allows for simultaneous closure from the center of the wound by two practitioners, potentially improving operative efficiency.
