Made from knitted cellulose acetate with a woven mesh structure, the dressing is impregnated with a petrolatum emulsion, which facilitates painless removal during dressing changes.

This dressing can be used under compression, allowing integration with bandages or wraps without sticking or causing friction. The dressing is cuttable, enabling precise sizing to match the wound area and maintain coverage over irregular surfaces. Its rectangle shape and 3-inch width ensure uniform protection, while the 8-inch length accommodates a variety of wound sizes in clinical practice.

Adaptic dressings are appropriate for a wide range of wound types, from dry to highly exuding.
