PDS Plus Monofilament Suture, P3, Violet, Size 5-0, 18" is a synthetic absorbable surgical suture designed for wound closure and soft tissue approximation. The suture is composed of polydioxanone with triclosan and features a monofilament construction. Its absorbable design provides prolonged mechanical support during tissue healing before gradual degradation and absorption.

The suture is supplied in USP size 5-0 with a length of 18 inches. Its violet coloration provides visual identification during surgical placement, while the unidirectional configuration contains one strand per pack. The attached P-3 needle measures 13 mm in length and features a silver finish with Cutting Edge Prime Reverse point geometry.
