Monocryl Plus Suture, Undyed, Size 4-0, 27", SH Needle is an absorbable wound closure suture composed of poliglecaprone 25 with triclosan. The monofilament construction provides smooth passage through tissue and supports controlled wound approximation. The undyed configuration provides a neutral appearance for procedures where an undyed suture is preferred.

The suture measures 27 inches in length and is supplied in USP size 4-0. It is unidirectional and configured as a single strand per pack. The absorbable material is designed to provide temporary wound support during the healing process before gradually undergoing absorption. The stated absorption rate is 90–120 days.

The suture is supplied with an SH needle featuring a silver finish, 26 mm needle length, and taper point geometry. The taper point is designed for penetration through soft tissue while helping maintain controlled needle passage. The needle configuration supports precise placement during wound closure procedures requiring an appropriate curved surgical needle.
