Labetalol 5mg/mL 4mL Carpuject™ is a sterile injectable solution designed for the management of acute hypertension. It is provided in a 4mL prefilled glass syringe with a luer-lock system, ensuring secure and precise administration. The syringe is part of the Carpuject™ system, which is compatible with compatible injection devices, allowing for controlled and accurate dosing.

Labetalol is a combined alpha- and beta-adrenergic receptor blocker, making it effective in lowering blood pressure through dual mechanisms. It reduces systemic vascular resistance via alpha-1 blockade and decreases heart rate and myocardial contractility via beta-adrenergic blockade. This combination is particularly useful for rapid control of blood pressure in hypertensive emergencies.
