Description

Famotidine Injection, 10 mg/mL, is a sterile, single-dose vial formulation of a histamine-2 (H2) receptor antagonist. It is primarily used to reduce gastric acid secretion and treat conditions associated with excess acid production. Each vial contains 10 mg of famotidine in 1 mL of solution, with the packaging containing 25 single-dose vials of 2 mL each, providing convenience and ease of administration in clinical settings.

Famotidine works by selectively blocking the H2 receptors in the parietal cells of the stomach, which inhibits gastric acid secretion.
