ETHILON™ Monofilament Suture, Size 9/0, Black, 5", with a V130-3 Tapercut needle, is a nonabsorbable synthetic surgical suture made from polyamide 6 (nylon). This suture is designed for precision in microsurgical applications, offering excellent handling characteristics, smooth tissue passage, and minimal tissue trauma due to its monofilament structure.

The V130-3 needle is a Tapercut design combining the precision of a tapered body with the sharpness of a cutting tip, ideal for penetrating dense or delicate tissues with minimal disruption. Its fine profile supports accurate placement, making it suitable for ophthalmic, vascular, and delicate reconstructive procedures.

ETHILON™ sutures are dyed black to improve visibility during placement, especially in fine-tissue fields. The monofilament configuration minimizes capillarity and reduces the risk of bacterial wicking.
