Fabric: These pads are designed in a fine quality blend of cotton and polyester, which does not stick with the lightly draining wound but rather helps protect the granulating tissue. It is designed in a very breathable fabric that is soft and comfy. The pad has three unique layers, the first one being a non-woven smooth layer to the exterior, the second including soft filler for soaking up, and the third layer providing a wet resistance.

Design: The three unique layers used for designing abdominal pads ensure rapid healing of wounds by increasing the functionality of this pad. The four edges of the abdominal pad are designed such that seepage can be completely avoided. The boundaries of the pad are sealed in such a manner that they put a stop to linting.

Uses: The abdominal pads help in shielding the patient from infections by acting as a reservoir that soaks exudates. The outer layer is soft and non-woven, which helps in quickly wicking the fluid to the cellulose center. The cellulose’s thick layer takes part in rapidly absorbing as well as dispersing fluids laterally to prevent pooling. Further, the hydrophobic back impedes fluid strikethrough. These abdominal pads do not stick to the injury or wound, which further helps in easily applying and removing them.
