Description

Monosof™ Suture, black, size 4/0, 18", with P-13 needle, is a nonabsorbable, monofilament surgical suture made of polyamide 6. This material offers excellent tensile strength and is biologically inert, making it ideal for skin closure and soft tissue approximation where long-term support is not required. The black coloration enhances intraoperative visibility, allowing precise placement and handling during suturing.

Equipped with a P-13 precision reverse cutting needle, this suture is designed to penetrate dense and tough tissues, including skin. The 3/8 circle curvature of the needle allows for optimal maneuverability in both superficial and moderately deep surgical sites. The 18-inch length provides sufficient working range for small- to medium-scale procedures.

Monosof™ Sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and skin closure, particularly in plastic surgery, dermatology, and ophthalmic procedures. Due to its nonabsorbable nature, suture removal is necessary following healing, ensuring wound support without permanent foreign material retention.
