The FLOSEAL® Hemostatic Matrix with RECOTHROM® is a dual-component system designed to achieve rapid hemostasis during surgical procedures. The kit contains a bovine-derived gelatin matrix combined with recombinant human thrombin, which promotes clot formation at the site of bleeding. The matrix conforms to tissue surfaces, ensuring effective coverage of irregular or complex anatomical areas for targeted hemostatic action.

RECOTHROM® Thrombin Topical is produced using recombinant DNA technology, providing a laboratory-manufactured thrombin identical in amino acid sequence to human thrombin. The production process eliminates human blood components, reducing the risk of viral or disease transmission while maintaining high efficacy for clot formation. This combination ensures reliable performance in critical surgical settings.

The 10 mL prefilled syringe allows precise placement of the hemostatic matrix onto the bleeding site. Applicator tips and mixing accessories included in the kit facilitate proper reconstitution and delivery of thrombin into the gelatin matrix.
