Description

Prophase Wound Cleanser is a nontoxic, nonsensitizing, and nonirritating solution designed to assist in the debridement and cleansing of wounds. It contains cocamidopropyl betaine, a gentle surfactant that effectively cleans wounds while maintaining skin integrity. This formula also includes PHMB (polyhexamethylene biguanide), a broad-spectrum antimicrobial and antiseptic that helps prevent infection without contributing to resistance.

The 8 oz spray bottle delivers an ideal level of spray pressure, making it easy to apply the cleanser to a variety of wound types. This spray design is especially suitable for both acute and chronic dermal lesions, including stage I-IV pressure injuries, venous ulcers, leg ulcers, and diabetic foot ulcers.

This wound cleanser is designed for use in managing a wide range of wound types, from post-surgical wounds to first- and second-degree burns. Its ability to cleanse and moisturize wounds aids in the promotion of healing by providing a clean environment conducive to tissue repair.
